K12 Insight Appoints Evangelina “Eva” Rodriguez as Chief Solutions Officer
HERNDON, VA — January 2026 — K12 Insight today announced that Evangelina “Eva” Rodriguez has joined the company as its first Chief Solutions Officer. Rodriguez brings over a decade of district technology leadership experience, most recently as the Chief Information Technology Officer at San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD).
Rodriguez is widely recognized for her work advancing cybersecurity, digital equity, and modern IT service delivery in public education. She is currently finishing her term on the board of the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN), where she contributes to shaping the future of educational technology on a national level. She has been recognized for her distinguished service by the Council of Great City Schools (2024) and as a Top 100 Education Influencer by District Administration (2023).
In her new role on the executive team, Rodriguez will help shape solution and product strategy for Onflo (formerly Let’s Talk), K12 Insight’s unified service desk platform used across all district departments, including the Superintendent’s Office, Information Technology, Human Resources, Transportation, and Facilities. Her district experience will directly shape the company’s innovation roadmap as it helps school systems streamline operations and elevate service delivery.
“K-12 public schools are in the middle of a real inflection point,” said K12 Insight Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Suhail Farooqui. “Districts are under intense pressure to rebuild public trust and keep students, meet rising expectations for digital convenience, and do more with fewer resources, all while navigating an overwhelming and fragmented edtech landscape.”
“Too many point solutions have left districts with siloed systems, bloated costs, and teams stretched thin. What districts need now are enterprise-grade platforms that unify service, workflows, and data across departments and drive real operational efficiency,” continued Farooqui. “Eva has lived these challenges firsthand. Her leadership comes at exactly the moment education technology is moving into its next phase. She will help us ensure Onflo delivers the kind of end-to-end solutions districts need to operate smarter and serve their communities better.”
Rodriguez emphasized that her move to K12 Insight is a way to stay true to her roots in public service while expanding her reach and supporting more districts nationwide.
“I’ve dedicated my career to serving public schools and that mission is only expanding.” emphasized Rodriguez. “Joining K12 Insight allows me to support more districts, more teams, and more communities than ever before. Having lived the challenges districts face, I’m excited to help ensure schools have solutions that truly support their teams, strengthen service for families, and create a better experience for the students and communities they serve.”
